Job Title: Investment Administrator
Hours:Full Time
Salary:£21,000 - £23,000 per annum
Location:Birmingham

Our client is currently recruiting for an Investment Administrator to assist Investment Managers in effective and efficient team support and client administration, including client portfolios and to assist in the production of investment proposals.

Key Duties:

*Answering phones, dealing with queries from clients and intermediaries, taking appropriate messages
*Manage client mail-merges
*Ensure new accounts are opened in a timely and accurate manner
*Produce and distribute six monthly reviews for all team clients
*Assist in the six-monthly distributions of valuations for the entire client base as well as the yearly distribution of tax packages
*Process client payments and administration of deceased accounts
*Arrange portfolio transfers and process ISA subscriptions
*Assist in the general administration of the team (post, room booking)
*Prepare reports, correspondence and other relevant documentation including investment proposals
*Prepare PowerPoint presentations for client meetings
*Prepare suitability letters and maintain affirmations
*Carry out any other duties, which might be reasonably requested by your Line Manager to ensure the smooth running of the client base
*Client correspondence, which will include some audio typing

Key Skills/Experience required:

*A pro-active attitude to take responsibility for team support to ensure the Investment Managers can complete their function without undue interruptions
*Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and react appropriately to changing work conditions
*Use initiative to think ahead and pre-empt potential problems
*Polite and courteous attitude at all times
*Commercially astute with excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage and influence at all levels across the business and the wider organisation
*Confident with drive, energy and resilience to deliver success in a challenging business environment
*Educated to A level standard
*Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
*Experience within Financial Services/Investment is preferred
