Commercial Property Fee Earner
An excellent opportunity for 2 years + PQE Commercial Property Solicitor to join a firm committed to continued investment, development and growth in their Commercial Property service based in Teeside.
Main duties and requirements
Conduct of property matters on behalf of commercial clients.
Corresponding with clients, other solicitors, lenders, estate agents and other third parties
Participation in marketing and business development activities whether on a companywide, departmental or office basis.
Financial control with particular regard to cash-flow control through a collection of monies on account and billing procedures.
Management of support services for which (s)he is responsible.
Supporting department fee earners as appropriate.
Preferred skills and experience
A minimum of 2 years post qualified experience.
Thorough working knowledge and experience of commercial property transactions.
Able to act confidently for a range of commercial clients.
Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
Good risk management skills, complying with regulatory requirements such as money laundering and data protection.
Good file management techniques.
Up to date with changes in the law.
Experience of working with a Case Management system.
Excellent PC/keyboard skills.
Self-motivation: energy; positivity; can-do attitude.
Confidentiality and discretion.
Proactive; willing to use initiative.
Able to work well independently as well as part of a team
