A leading Global Financial Institution is seeking to employ an AMG Analyst, based in London.
Hours 35 per week/permanent.

The role holder will implement Asset Management’s investment processes through equity analysis/research, credit analysis/research, multi-asset analysis/research and to account for the quality of analysis/research local senior analysts and to participate in relevant local/cross-border analyst team meetings. They will have frequent interactions with local investment teams, representatives of investee companies and with third-party research providers. The role holder will encourage and enable constructive cross-country and cross-business teamwork by demonstrating collaboration and matrix management in action and challenging actions and behaviours that are not consistent with the firms diversity policy and/or the best interests of the business and its customers. They will contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of a management information, analysis and reporting framework that supports and informs timely and effective business management and decision making at all levels. The role holder will also contribute to the implementation and monitoring of the application of policies, governance frameworks, procedures, practices and standards to ensure quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance. The role holder will implement measures to contain compliance risk across the business area. This will be achieved by liaising with Compliance department about business initiatives at the earliest opportunity. Also and when applicable, by ensuring adequate resources are in place and training is provided, fostering a compliance culture and optimising relations with regulators.
The successful candidate will be a graduate and will have the following:
- Proven investment experience as analyst
- Curiosity and willingness to learn
- Fundamental bottom-up approach to investment
- Highly numerate with demonstrable quantitative skills (e.g. Excel proficiency)
- CFA charterholder or Master in Finance a positive but not essential
- Knowledge of LatAm markets a positive but not essential
