The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a sales person to join the successful team in Rotherham. They are seeking a proactive, target driven individual to develop business within their existing customer base. Training will be provided to allow you to progress into new business development.

You will be given the training necessary to carry out your role, which will involve quickly building strong relationships with customers over the telephone, to pro-actively selling their wide range of products and services.

You will also process sales enquiries / orders and see all your administration through to completion, ensuring excellent levels of customer service.

Responsibilities
- To identify credit worthy new customers
- Produce a programme of sales calls, both promotional and cold call and ensure contract customers and prospects meet agreed targets
- Build relationships with customers to identify their needs and improve customer purchase frequency
- Monitor active/dormant/potential conversion ratios and continually improve on these
- Provide quotations to customers
- Liaise with Sales Manager to ensure targets are achieved.
- Confidently pick up the phone to establish and build relationships with new and lapsed customers

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and confident and willing to learn. Previous experience within a target driven sales role would be advantageous. You must be confident and able to pick up the phone generating new business.

You must be organised and methodical in your approach with the tenacity and resilience to be successful in this busy role.

It is essential that you also have excellent numeric skills and are computer literate as well as a bright personality combined with a strong can do attitude.
