This IT Solutions provider are looking for an experienced IT Support / Network Engineer to join their London (Harrow) based support desk team. They are a Managed Service Provider that specialises in supporting Microsoft based IT systems for businesses of all types and sizes. They are looking for someone who has experience providing IT Support in a commercial environment supporting Microsoft software (Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Exchange, SQL, Windows, Office, Office 365, Azure). Suitable candidates will have Microsoft accreditations MCP/ MCITP/ MCSE or MCSA.

Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years previous experience in a standalone IT role or working in a managed service environment and will be able to work with little to no supervision. They would be involved in the day to day support of multiple clients working at all levels up to systems administration. They are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is technical, sharp and able to make quick decisions when needed. They have a friendly working atmosphere and each member of the team prides themselves on their work.

They expect you to take responsibility for/of:

- The administration of all IT systems in relation to the client.
- Installing, supporting and resolving issues with computers, servers and other IT systems.
- Monitoring the backup, updates, patches, anti virus, server hardware and system availability.
- Dealing with escalated tickets from colleagues on the help desk and working pro actively with the client within the SLA.
- Going onsite where necessary and working with 3rd party supporters to ensure user issues are dealt with from start to finish.
- Management of problems to resolution for any network and equipment failures covering software, hardware and infrastructure issues as defined by the service level agreement.

Experience and Skills:

- Strong planning, organising and prioritising abilities with the flexibility to cope with change.
- Strong problem solving abilities with the ability to think creatively.
- Server building / rebuilding / troubleshooting (Windows Server 2008, 2012).
- MS Exchange, AD, DNS, Hyper V Virtualisation, DFS, Group Policy, WSUS, DHCP.
- Hardware - Servers, PCs, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, APs.
- Networking - TCPIP, Cisco Routing, VPN
- Applications - Windows 7, 8, 10 Office (2010 onwards).
- Office 365 Administration, Azure and PowerShell would be advantageous
- Experience with HP, Dell, Cisco, Draytek hardware would be advantageous

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6.00pm, you will be required to be flexible where needed to meet business needs.
