Sector - Social Housing Refurbishment

Rate - £23 Per Hour

Location - Stockport

Start Date - June

Duration - 3 Months

The Company

They are a well-respected National Social Housing contractor who due to a large increase in workload, require an experienced Social Housing Site Manager to join their busy construction team.

The Role

The project consist of the external refurbishment of four tower blocks including cladding, windows and doors. You will be joining an existing construction team made up of a Project Manager and two General Foreman, supported by a strong commercial team.

Reporting directly to an on-site Project Manager, assisting him with the smooth construction process including managing of all site labour and sub-contractors, management of the scheme through to handover to the end client.

* Oversee the day to day operations of the scheme and monitor progress
* Managing Sub-Contractors
* Site Inductions
* Manage to budget and complete within agreed deadlines
* Manage, motivate and appraise team members
* Maintaining Health and Safety

About You

As a Site Manager you will be highly motivated and be able to work in a busy, pressured environment and have proven experiences working to tight deadlines in a high specification environment. You must have previous experience working on similar social housing schemes, ideally external refurbishment.

The Opportunity

For your skills and experience we can offer an hourly rate of £23 Per Hour working a minimum 50 hours per week for 3 months.
