My client is currently looking for Vision Systems Applications Engineers to support their range of Barcode Reading systems and Camera Vision Solutions.

The geographical location covered will be the North of the UK. Candidates will ideally be located in the Yorks/Lancs area. And the South of the UK. Candidate will ideally be located in the Herts/Beds area.

Key markets include Automotive Manufacturing, Warehouse and Logistics and Food and Drink Packaging.

My client offers bespoke systems as well as standard solutions such as their Validator end of line label and packaging inspection range.

With a growing team of currently five Technical Engineers, they offer market-leading pre-sales support, installation and commissioning services as well as after-sales support packages.

Job Roles:

This may include:

* Joint visits with sales personnel to provide technical support in customer meetings
* Technical assistance / product trials for new enquiries
* Technical input to sales quotations
* Application evaluations
* Vision system application writing / Barcode system configuration
* On-site installation / commissioning
* Telephone / remote technical support for existing customers
* Customer visits for on-site technical support
* Visits to key suppliers for updated product training

Desired Skills:

* Camera Vision Applications Experience
* Degree Qualified in Electronic / Engineering or Computer Programming
* PC Programming (C# / .NET / JavaScript)
* Ability to work both on their own initiative and within a team
* Experience in a relevant industry would be a bonus
* PLC Programming would be a bonus
