We are currently recruiting for an LSA for the whole academic year working with a young female person within a College based near Croydon. The Student will be studying Animal Care.

The College require someone to work with a Female student, age 16 with a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy affecting her lower limbs. The student also suffers from generalised anxiety and has OCD type behaviour.

What we are looking for:
1. A LSA for full days , 4 days a week.
2. Working knowledge and experience working with young people with mobility (moving & handling experience) and understanding around anxiety and OCD. (Female working due to personal care, support around toileting) LSA who is confident in providing personal care, when needed
3. A good standard of reading and writing and report writing. Someone who is able to scribe and support student with academic work.
4. The LSA who MUST be willing to do ‘animal handling’, the student, will need another set of hands to handle birds, snakes, farm animals, small mammals
5. Someone who can commit to the whole academic year.
6. A LSA with a flexible approach who would be happy to work with other young people needed learning support when and if needed.

The academic year at the college starts on the 11th September 2017 and ends July 2018.
