Job Description

Purchasing Admin

Follow up on order acknowledgement - make sure they are received and within time requested and that the system is updated to reflect acknowledgements

Expedite incoming Goods - contact suppliers on any needs for good to be expedited

Follow up on overdue orders - contact Suppliers and find out why goods have not been received and when they will be received. Document reasons for delivery failure and communicate within the department and to planning production as needed

Take charge of contacting suppliers when Return to Vendor are received, document and make sure defective goods are returned in a quick fashion

Updating Spreadsheets, chasing overdue paperwork - As directed by Purchasing Mgmt.

Other duties as assigned by Purchasing Manager.
