Maintenance Supervisor required for highly successful manufacturer (part of UK wide group) offering excellent starting package within a pivotal role.

The role will suit Senior engineers/ team leaders looking for a role where you can influence and help shape the engineering structure. The site has a large team of electrical and mechanical engineers who work on different shift patterns, the majority of the role will be man management and also team management to ensure everyone is working efficiently and to a good standard.

The ideal candidate will be a proven Maintenance Supervisor from ANY manufacturing background, preferably high volume. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll be responsible for all engineering activities on site. The role is both office based and hands on, although you will not be needed on the tools, a candidate who can implement ideas and rectify engineering problems will be very beneficial.

You will be managing a large team of engineers & apprentices and planning the maintenance activity. You will ensure maintenance is carried out effectively across the site as well as being involved in continuous improvement activities. You will also be involved in staff disciplinary’s and ongoing mentoring of the maintenance team.

The person:

* Proven maintenance manager from ANY manufacturing background

* Experience in manufacturing

* Capable of leading a team of engineers

* Experience of continuous improvement

* Knowledge of H&S Standards
