We have a new Site Manager vacancy with a Kent based contractor. Are you looking for a new challange or simply want to work on some great projects?

* Position - Site Manager
* Contract type - Permanent
* Salary Range - Competitive salary plus full package & car or car allowance.
* Location - South East & London.

The Company:

A medium sized-contractor specialising in the new build and refurbishment construction sectors with focus on housing, social housing refurbishment and cyclical works. Whether it be a private client looking for a unique new build, local authority or housing association looking to increase housing stock they have the skill set and expertise to deliver their customer exact needs.

The Team:

Led by a team comprising of directors and high level management that hold an in-depth and varied knowledge in the construction, m&e, environmental and the h&s industry, they are collectively responsible for the long term success set out by a clear strategy and delivering process in place.

The Opportunity:

An experienced Site Manager to join an existing highly respected and prominent team of passionate and dedicated managers who take a joined up approach to achieve and exceed client demands.

You will have the following attributes to add value to the existing team:

* Relevant experience in the above markets.
* Focus and drive for the project assigned and aim to achieve the highest results.
* Experience of running your own schemes or working on larger projects as part of a team in lead of number two position.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the provision of a safe, efficient and cost effective on all areas of service delivery ensuring the highest quality of work is provided in the timescales determined by the contract.
* Develop site specific plans with Senior Management and continually review, implement, monitor and enforce procedures.
* Arrange and chair pre-start, weekly subcontractor progress, daily coordination and monthly client evaluation meetings with various internal and external stakeholders..
* Be familiar with project target and monitor progress against this target through discussion with Senior Management.
* Understand the site's financial position at all times through liaison within internal department and external consultants.
* Control and monitor day works for subcontractors
* Demonstrate a good level of financial/technical knowledge to meet the business and customer objectives.
* Be aware of the production through on-going analysis & mitigation of project risks.
* Health & safety management and promotion in line with the company policies and procedures.
* Quality and safety inspections.
* Manage resources of the project to maximise output and deliver to programme

Key Skills and Qualifications:

* Holds the relevant CITB and First Aid qualifications (NVQ level 3 or above is desirable).
* Circa 5 years+ experience with relevant and recent industry experience in a similar role.
* Ability to take ownership, solve problems and implement actions
* Working knowledge of programming software packages and document control software.
* Strong organisational skills and proven time management
