To be successful, you will be a creative Complex Needs Teacher who has worked in a teaching environment where there are heightened numbers of pupils who present with profound, multiple Learning difficulties. The school are looking for a teacher who has a demonstrable track record of 'Good' or better teaching and has a passion for SEN. Ideally, the school need a Complex Needs Teacher who is able to create an air of acceptance and mutual respect that allows pupils with varying physical and medical needs to flourish.
About the Role
This Complex Needs Teacher position involves taking over a class within KS2 based on demand within the school and you will be making the most of the resources in your classroom. Your duties as Complex Needs Teacher will include teaching with the full support of an experienced HLTA and a graduate SEN TA who is training to be a teacher. Personal development, mutual respect, support and team work are the three pillars of the Schools philosophy and as a teacher you will be expected to uphold and promote these.
The school caters to students aged between 4-19 who present with profound, complex and multiple difficulties, which include sensory and or physical, medical, behavioural, emotional and social needs.
