Credit Controller (with some receivables experience) required for our client, an exciting and rapidly expanding, global media business, based in Central London.

The Credit Control position is responsible for ensuring all aspects of invoicing and cash collection are carried out in a timely and efficient manner. The nature of our business means this role offers exposure to complex transactions and a real insight into the full process from start to finish.

Key skills required:

* Previous Sales Ledger / Credit Control experience is essential
* A good academic background, ideally you will hold a finance related degree
* Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external clients
* Possess an excellent attitude with drive, passion and ambition
* An interest in the media sector

Role will include:

* Liaising directly clients throughout the month:

* Resolving queries
* Confirming payment dates
* Chasing overdue invoices by telephone and/or email
* Providing copy invoices via e-mail
* Ensuring remittance advices are received

* Allocating all cash/cheques/BACS payments on PeopleSoft AR.
* Processing all credit rebills for the Media Department.
* Reviewing billing and credit rebills for all departments.
* Acting as liaison person for invoice queries between departments and Customers.
* Updating VAT EC sales list.
* Ensuring the Sales Ledger is accurately maintained and Accounts Receivable is reconciled to the General Ledger at the end of the month.
* Creating and sending manual client statements monthly.
* Providing anticipated Accounts Receivable monthly collections information for cash flow purposes.
* Maintaining queries spreadsheet and attend weekly meetings with Media Department to resolve queries.
* Printing and reviewing credit reports on request.
* Supervising the Finance Assistant in the absence of AP & AR manager.
