Health Care Assistant / Ear Care Practitioner - Spider Recruitment Services are currently supporting this multi award winning family run hearing care company in their search for a Health Care Assistant / Ear Care Practitioner. This is an excellent opportunity to join the audiology team providing the highest standard of patient care. As the Health Care Assistant - Ear Care Practitioner, having received the appropriate training, you will provide safe ear syringing or micro suction, as well as advising on after care and making referrals as required.

Created in 1998 this business is now a well-established independent practice and is in fact the only truly independent, multi-centre hearing care company operating across both Norfolk and Suffolk. They are flexible and open to consider full time, part-time or a job share for the successful candidate. This role requires a health care, nursing, hearing care/audiology or other medical qualification and training in wax removal techniques will be provided.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Day to day management of appointments and ensuring all patient information is up to date on the company system, including appointment history, orders, payments and follow ups.
- Undertake wax removal for patients using the most appropriate technique for the optimum results and patient care.
- To advise patients on suitable after care with regard to wax prevention.
- To sustain levels of appropriate equipment and materials, maintaining their cleanliness at all times.

As the Health Care Assistant / Ear Care Practitioner you will have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. You will also demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise. Please note that your own transport is essential as this role will be undertaken in the Ipswich clinic and outside centres and/or patient homes within East Anglia.
