Business Analyst – North Birmingham – Permanent - £40,000

My client, an established organisation who are undergoing a period of sustained growth, have instructed VIQU to recruit a Business Analyst to play a key role in the delivery of business-critical projects that are vital to the organisations new strategic focus. Working within a highly adaptable team, you will ensure that throughout projects, solution delivery continues to match the Business Requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

* Providing effective communication between the business and the IT team.
* Providing effective communication with and between all levels of management.

* Articulating the impacts of the change across the full end to end process with stakeholders.

* General consultancy to the customer and providing solutions to business problems.
* Identifying areas for improvement or efficiency with current systems and processes.
* Understanding the goals and objectives of each business initiative.
* Creation of test plans which ensure that all business scenarios are tested against the documented requirements including regression testing where applicable.
* Overseeing end user testing to ensure the development delivers on the requirement.
* Analysing data from existing systems to thoroughly understand the business issues Understanding current systems and processes.
* Analysing the impact of the initiatives on systems, processes, organisational structures, policies etc.
* Conducting requirements gathering workshops and developing requirements catalogues.
* Analysis and evaluation of all aspects of the initiative.
* Documenting any identified required changes, and communicating them to the relevant third parties/colleagues.

Skills & Experience

* Experience in a Business Analyst role with exposure to a wide breadth of activities with the product/customer lifecycle.
* Experience in a Testing role is desirable however training will be given for someone with a strong understanding of, and aptitude for Testing practices and processes.
* Previous experience of facilitating workshops for clients is essential with the confidence and ability to run and lead workshops alone.
* Ability to work effectively with all levels of an organisation.
* The ability to work effectively and influence at all levels of the organisation.
* The ability to use logical methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
* The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines within project plans.
* Open to change and enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks.
