As Electrician / Merchandiser for this established and highly recognised company, you will be responsible merchandising products, assembling and dressing display equipment and stands, as well as site maintenance. Your usual place of work will be Banbury; however, you will be required to travel extensively for the role and stay away from home depending on project duration. This is a full time, permanent basis.

Action: what will I be doing?

* Travelling and working on location as required, anywhere in the EU, for extended periods
* Preparing and installing display equipment and products
* Merchandising and re-merchandising commercial displays
* Working closely with sales representatives, in the first instance, and customers to achieve the desired display finish
* Working independently, tidily and completing all undertakings to the highest standard
* All merchandising, preparation work and work areas must be left clean, tidy and safe
* Allocated vehicle must be checked to ensure all legal and safety requirements are met and failures reported immediately
* Ensuring timesheets are competed accurately are completed in a timely manner
* Adhering to site rules and regulations, on which ever site work is being undertaken
* Testing and repairing products, where applicable
* Managing expenses in accordance with guidelines
* Assisting in general duties and in other areas of the business as required

Please note: A reasonable amount of additional hours and some weekend work will be required

Measure: the skills I need…

* You must be a fully qualified electrician
* Carpentry skills, ideal, not essential
* You must be willing to undertake general maintenance tasks
* Willing to travel extensively
* Ability to communicate effectively
* Understand the needs of customers and all personnel intrinsic to the task
* Ability to think through and overcome or adjust to challenges
* A clean driving licence
