Are you an existing Trainer Assessor or do you have experience working in a dentistry setting? Are you GDC registered and have a Dentistry qualification? Want to make a difference to someone`s life? Are you looking for a home based role? Then this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

What will the role involve?
As a Trainer Assessor you will help inspire learners to realise their potential as you offer support and advice while you guide them through their apprenticeship training and assessment. Delivering a professional, high quality service to our learners is key and is underpinned by quality procedures and Awarding Body requirements.
This is a home based role so you`ll manage your own diary and will work a 37.5 hour week. You will arrange on site visits at various Dental practices within Norfolk and Suffolk in order to train, support and offer advice to learners in order for them to successfully complete their apprenticeship in the workplace.
You`ll tailor and devise individual learning plans, identify any additional learning needs, and provide the learner with all relevant information, guidance and resources to ensure their progress is kept on track.

What skills are we looking for?
To be successful as a Dental Trainer Assessor you must be approachable, self-motivated and possess high levels of empathy. You must be an excellent negotiator and able to use your initiative to solve problems, often involving different stakeholders. You must have excellent IT skills and be comfortable working with a range of IT packages so that you can access and utilise the technology available. You will need to be GDC registered and have a relevant Dental qualification.
As a remote worker it`s critical that you`re able to manage your time and diary effectively, and can work independently and flexibly, responding positively to change.
For non-qualified Trainer Assessors we will support your career and arrange for you to become a fully qualified. If you are already qualified you will join us at the top end of our very competitive pay scale and benefit from any additional training and support.
Your application should be able to demonstrate:

- A full driving licence and access to your own transport
- Have a current DBS (Online Update Service checkable) or be willing to undertake one
- Experience, coaching and mentoring young people
- A recognised training qualification (PTTLS, DTTLS, CTTLS, FAETC< PGCE< CertED, etc.) or willingness to work towards one.
- An assessing qualification would be desirable (TAQA / A1 or equivalent)
- The ability to be vigilant, confident and competent in order to challenge learner views and extremist ideas.
