Due to growth, a Big 4 firm is looking to recruit an Assistant Manager / Audit Senior to strengthen their award winning audit team. From their prestigious city centre offices in Liverpool the firm provides a wide-range of accountancy services to a wide range of owner-managed, local, national and international businesses.
Despite being one of the Big 4 this firm their culture is less corporate and more supportive than their competitors and over the last few years in particular they have invested a lot of time and resources into ensuring that new starters have a strong mentoring/buddying up system and this also helps to assist the transition from smaller firm to Big 4.
You will be leading audits across a wide range of industries from retail and manufacturing to not for profit organisations so it is essential that you have experience of leading audits from planning to completion, preferably with at least 50% or higher audit bias. High performing candidates with also have the opportunity to take secondments into other departments or client sites which will allow you to further develop your experience.
A professional and confident personality is also essential with the ability to develop strong working relationships with your clients and colleagues. You will also have a strong academic background and be fully qualified ACA or ACCA.
