Rullion Client has is a power and energy distribution company for the Distributed Energy and Private Networks business. Rullion's client finance, own, operate and maintain energy infrastructure for commercial, industrial and residential customers - providing them with a market leading project development service and certainty of operational performance and asset management.
As the Commercial Project Development Manager your main responsibility is to lead the Bid and Development teams to secure long term concession agreements to own and operate heat and cooling networks across the UK. You will lead the negotiation with our clients and manage supporting teams to ensure that bids are delivered on time.
Within this role you will ensure that technical and commercial solutions (including alternative ownership structures) best reflect the client's requirements and you will work closely with the operations and delivery teams to ensure projects can be effectively procured, delivered and operated.
In this exciting and challenging role within a committed and supportive team, you will be responsible for securing contracts on projects of typical capex value of £1-30m-m with annual PBIT >£150k and have direct responsibility for ensuring major or complex bids successfully transition from initial bid to contract signature stage. To meet the demands of this role, you will have proven experience in managing large complex bids with multiple internal and external stakeholders and have an excellent understanding of EU and UK policy frameworks as they apply to energy, carbon and construction.
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, the ability to manage commercial opportunities and associated risks and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and support teams. You will have a broad understanding of engineering systems and performance of assets in a heat network and energy centre. Previous experience of working with different financing opportunities and commercial structures applied to distributed energy solutions would be an advantage.
