Salary: £20000 - £25000pa

The successful candidate will have either a degree (or equivalent qualification) within an Engineering or Mechanical related subject
Solid experience working within an Engineering or Mechanical environment and have gained a very wide knowledge of the industry and possess a natural ability.

This role will be working as part of the Operations department; you will be dealing with technical repairs and refurbishments following on from breakdown reports generated by the Field Service Engineers.

The job will involve
- Quoting for the entirety of the works
- Liaising with your client
- Liaising with engineers
- Organising repairs and logistical elements such as ensuring all parts and equipment are on site ready for the engineers to carry out the required works.
You will need to provide a quick and efficient turnaround from quotation to project completion, along with building and maintaining client relationships to secure future business.
The role will also include being the point of contact for some of our largest customers this will involve being the “go-to” person within the business and dealing with all their needs and may require site visits for large projects.
Preferable skills and qualifications:
• Able to demonstrate practical basic engineering knowledge gained either through industrial placement, degree or project work.
• Have a good understanding of Windows based packages, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel etc.
• Can communicate in a clear, concise and confident manner both verbally and written.
• Proven customer service experience
• Must be able to demonstrate attention to detail and have an excellent memory
Ability to deal with multiple issues under time pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to converse at all levels and work as part of a team.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately when under pressure.
• Must have good technical knowledge and good business acumen.
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline would be an advantage
• A full driving license (car) is essential
