Requiring a strong technical accounting pedigree and solid managerial skills, this Group Financial Controller vacancy will present the successful applicant with challenge and opportunity within a progressive international professional services firm.

Based within modern, City of London offices, you'll enjoy working within a dynamic, professional environment where staff are encouraged to seek out ways to improve processes and output. You should enjoy implementing and improving internal control processes and it's likely the successful applicant will come from an audit background.

The Group Financial Controller manages a team of 4-5 direct reports within the group accounting function to ensure all tax and financial reporting deadlines are met and that group policies and procedures are followed across the network of offices. You'll also manage the global consolidation and year end process, attending audit committee meetings and forging close relationships with senior colleagues internally and with external auditors and tax advisors.

Previous experience within a professional services environment will be highly desirable as will international exposure. You should also have proven ability in managing and developing others, and will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with solid post qualification experience.
