Do you have a passion for driving product development by ensuring the checking inspecting and measuring products developed within the company? Can you manage the test and validation resources of the company including scheduling and completing tests and measurements?

The Company
As one of the global leaders sourcing automotive parts manufacturing in the world, it specialises within the interior sectors focusing on seats, exhaust systems, dashboards and interior. Due to increased demand on products and Engineering capabilities this has led to the urgent requirement of a Quality Engineer to continue the management of internal and customer quality related issues.

The Role:
As the Quality Engineer you will continually advise, support and lead necessary quality related continuous improvement activities to ensure the customers receive the high quality delivery of their needs.
The key responsibilities of the job are:-
* Manage both Internal and Customer Quality Related Issues
* Ensure that all test equipment, checking CMM Fixtures are maintained to the expected level
* Report Directly and Prepare Reports to the Quality Manager
* Ensure timely planning and completion of COP Testing within the plant
* Support Production in Management of Quality Issues reported by Customers
* Co-ordinate analysis of warranty returns from customers
The Person:

The successful Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the continuation of quality throughout all of the products initiated. We are looking for someone commercially astute who has sound automotive industry knowledge.

Skills:
* Experience in all phases of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
* Knowledge of Metrology
* Sound experience of Automotive industry - focussing on Quality
* Experience of CMM Measurements / MSA and JIT
* Strong character & tenacity
* Minimum of at least 3-5 years Automotive experience
