The ideal candidate will understand that our provision of an efficient pre-sales support service is an integral part of the product we sell and will enjoy providing technical information and advice to our customers whilst maximising every sales opportunity.

We are committed to the development of our people and as part of a three-week induction process, full training will be provided in relation to the products and services offered to customers along with sales methods, systems and procedures.

Job Role Includes

  • Communicating with our customers via telephone, email and eBay message

  • Assisting customers with inbound sales enquiries across multiple platforms

  • Being the first point of contact for all pre-sales advice

  • Following up previous conversations with customers to ensure a satisfactory outcome

  • Accurately processing orders and quotes in line with the company systems and procedures

  • Obtaining a high level of product knowledge via in-house training to confidently satisfy our customers’ requirements

  • This is not a hard-sell, outbound call centre environment

    This is a full-time position. The successful applicant will work 8:45am-17:30pm Monday to Friday with additional Saturdays during the peak season of September through to the end of February.

Person Specification

  • Previous retail experience would be preferred

  • Proven experience of converting enquiries into sales

  • Keen eye for detail and accuracy in everything undertaken

  • Good telephone manner and ability to listen to customer requirements

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook preferred but training will be provided

  • Familiarity with online retail platforms (to include eBay and Amazon)

  • Ability to absorb technical information and new processes efficiently

  • Can perform tasks calmly and efficiently under pressure

  • Enjoys working as part of a team and on own initiative

  • Target driven and enjoys exceeding objectives

Pay £17,000 - £19,000 plus loyalty holiday scheme and optional pension scheme.
