Job Title - Customer Service Team Leader

Petrolscooter is a multimillion pound multi-channel online machine and parts distributor. We are looking for a Senior Sales & Administration Team Leader to complement our dynamic and innovative sales processing and administration team. The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate business acumen and the ability to effectively manage a small staff and systems to offer first class administration and customer service. This position has the potential to evolve into an Office Manager position so only ambitious business minded candidates should apply.

Duties will involve

Day to day smooth transition of online sales to the despatch department

Ensure customer contact by phone, email, online chat is exemplary at all times

Solving problems to resolve all the daily customer enquiries and complaints

Liaise effectively with the General Manager, Inventory Manager, Warehouse Manager and Director.

Fast accurate problem solving skills to resolve all the daily customer enquiries and complaints

Training provided to evolve into an Office Manager once suitably proficient

You will be trained to Manage and supervise the HR requirements of 20+ staff

You will be trained how to organise and implement the work and holiday rotas for 15 + staff

You will be trained to oversee the company pay detail to our accountants

You will be trained on how to produce productivity reports and monitors for the General Manager and Director

You will be trained how recruit, train and discipline staff where required on behalf of the company

You will be trained in how to carry out staff audits and appraisals and how to recognise when additional training is required


Petrolscooter are looking for candidates with the following skills and experiences in order for you to be considered.

Good GCSE grades in Maths and English and educated to degree level standard or equivalent

Previous managerial experience at Supervisor or Team Leader level

At least 2 years’ experience of working at the sales processing end of online sales Channels such as eBay and Amazon.

The role requires a highly organised and conscientious individual who understands the needs of a growing online business and its customers

Accurate computer skills and a good familiarity with Gmail and Excel is required

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate they are customer focused and can appreciate the needs of an online sales operation

The package

Position: Full time

Salary: circa £20k-£24k per annum dependent upon experience

Hours of work: 9-5 weekdays with 2 Saturdays per month 10-2 (Flexible rota)

Holidays: 21 days per annum plus bank holidays

Pension: Part company funded

Progression: This role has the potential to develop into an Office Manager position carrying a salary of £24k-27k
