The main purpose of the role is to provide fully comprehensive, efficient and effective graphic design for all (internal and external) marketing and communications material.

Main Duties:
Lead on the design, production and delivery of all design projects, such as:
printed materials
event displays and graphics
website and social media graphics

• Be the dedicated point of contact for all design work across the organisation and lead on all projects, by:
Meeting with others at different sites around the company to discuss project objectives and requirements, interpreting customers’ needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose
Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time, whilst continuing to meet the customers’ needs, presenting finalised ideas and concepts to customers
Keeping abreast of design trends and emerging technologies, with a particular focus on digital design, recommending consequential changes when appropriate

• Help implement and control a newly launched brand, ensuring materials are consistently produced to a high standard, reflecting the new identity and adhering relevant guidelines

• Safeguard the identity on a daily basis by providing guidance, support and advice to colleagues

• Help build and maintain a library of brand assets including images and marketing materials
• Provide support to the Communications team by, on occasion, assisting with the running of key corporate events, photography/video shoots, and general team activities
• Ensure adherence to duties in relation to Equality and Diversity

• Ensure the highest standards of health and safety are maintained in all areas

• Take care of your own safety and that of others who may be affected by what you do (or do not do)

Personal Attributes

The ideal candidate will be expected to have the following:
GCSE English and Maths A* to C (or equivalent) and a Graphic design degree (or equivalent qualification).
Proven experience of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) and other design programmes
Experience of design for digital
Ability to think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts for all design work
Knowledge of sourcing and preparing images for use on offline and online channels
Team player
Flexible and adaptable
Attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
