How they manage, use and take care of the data is crucial to the company’s continued commercial success and now is a really exciting time to be joining the business as it continues to grow

The Role

This role is considered strategically critical, their information is at the heart of what they do. You will be required to maintain this database whilst pre-empting the requirements of the marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

Running daily counts and selections from our Magic database

Checking and preparing data for email marketing campaigns and enewsletter mailings

Making data amendments and updates

Supporting the marketing and other teams with data requests

Scheduling and overseeing the delivery of our BPA-audited publications

Liaising with our third party database company

Running adhoc reports and analysis

Support the Database Manager and Head of Marketing with the implementation of the overall database strategy

The Person

You will have exceptional attention to detail

Proven experience of working with data and databases within a publishing, events or marketing organisation, ideally B2B

Competence with Excel in sorting, manipulating and formatting large data sets

Highly organised and can work to tight deadlines under pressure

You must be analytically minded with outstanding communication skills

Key Experience

Working with data and databases

Exceptional attention to detail

Ability to work on data and databases with absolute care and accuracy

High level of competency with Microsoft Excel and SQL

Highly organised and ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure

Analytically minded
