IS YOUR WRITING RED HOT?

Virgin is well known for doing things better. We’re constantly on the lookout for smart, talented and imaginative people to challenge the status quo and help deliver success. We offer a real alternative to banking-as-usual. A bank that aims to make everyone better off: our customers, staff, shareholders, business partners and the communities we serve.

Virgin Money is looking for a Copywriter to join our in-house Studio and help us stand out from the crowd. You’ll be part of our team of writers and designers, producing creative copy and ideas to promote our banking products and partnerships, across print and digital media.

You’ll need experience of working in an agency or in-house creative environment - with a strong portfolio of work. We’re after a writer with creative flair and the ability to think conceptually. Someone who can generate smart, disruptive ideas, as well as customer-friendly copy.

You’ll juggle lots of briefs with tight deadlines, so being organised is essential. You’ll also need a keen eye for detail and a strong grasp of grammar, making sure all your work is on brand and technically correct before it leaves the Studio.

The role involves pitching work to Campaign Managers and interpreting feedback, so strong communication skills are important. And all our work is a collaboration, so you’ll need to build brilliant working relationships across our Studio, Marketing and the wider business.

It’s a busy team in a fast-paced business but we’re a passionate and friendly bunch. We’re looking for someone with the right skills and attitude to join us as we take our Studio to the next level.

If that’s you, we’d love you to apply.

Our aim is to nurture a skilled, diverse and committed workforce where every individual - regardless of background - can share our purpose, reach their potential and be rewarded appropriately for their contribution to our success

This is a permanent role, based in our Norwich office.

Salary starting from £32,000 depending on experience, plus a range of great benefits.
