Duration – Initial 6 months rolling for 5+ years

This is an absolutely fantastic role on one of the largest European construction projects. You will be at the forefront of all the procurement for the project, and for the rights candidate there will be huge potential for career progression within the organisation.

A full procurement team is being established and to have the opportunity to work on HS2 can be a reality.

The role of a Procurement Manager:
You will be looking after and facilitating all procurement activities across the Signalling, Power and Communications portfolio. This will include:
Issuing tenders
Providing post contract commercial management support
Targeting specific goods, services and / or suppliers to identify how improvements can be made in the procurement of these goods/services
Undertaking regular contract management meetings with key stakeholders and suppliers
You will ideally have:
Previous experience working within the Rail industry working on project procurement roles
MCIPS would be advantageous
Knowledge of EU legislation
Strong negotiation skills
