Head of Technology Platforms - Digital and Web Transformation - London - £70-80k plus excellent package.

A leading online Publisher requires a Head of Technology Platforms to take technical ownership of Architecture, Development and Delivery for a complete platform transformation including new Websites, CMS, Identity Management, CRM and Analytics Platforms.

This transformation will include a number of new tools designed to increase revenue through increasing subscription and retention. For example, identity and access management, payment gateways, elastic search, analytics, customer journey and UX, semantec search, marketing automation, etc.

Working closely with 3rd Party suppliers, the Head of Technology Platforms will act as the CTO's right hand person to own technical product roadmaps and technical delivery and leadership. This will include validating suppliers architecture and designs are aligned to the platform strategy, acting as the voice of internal Product Owners to ensure priorities are communicated and releases are effectively agreed and managed.

To accurately and decisively guide technology platforms and product direction, the successful Head of Technology Platform must still be be technically hands on with web development either in your current role or developing products in your spare time.

Communication and gravitas are as important as technical nouse, so it is important to clearly demonstrate your ability and experience dealing with senior stakeholders across different business functions such as marketing, sales, digital, etc.

Head of Technology Platforms will also have demonstrable experience managing delivery through 3rd party suppliers, ensuring they are kept on track and accountable for their delivery and that development represents good value for money.
