Job Overview: Our client has retained our services to search for Injection Moulding Technicians to join their expanding team.

As Injection Moulding Technician, you must have several years’ experience with setting, conditioning and basic maintenance of machines and tools, coupled with troubleshooting skills and working with a wide range of materials. As Injection Moulding Technician you will be responsible for setting machines up from scratch, trialling new tools and continually seeking to improve work processes to achieve department targets. This is a hands-on role where you will contribute to the daily activity of setting tools but also have the technical ability to help resolve challenging jobs.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Set up operating parameters and trial injection moulding tools from scratch
• Key trouble shooting skills combining tool, process, material and machine
• Record process specifications
• Ensure documentation is completed and accurate
• Able to communicate with a wide variety of people - approachable, go to person for support and advice
• Support trainee setters and setters (Mentor / Buddy)
• Work closely with leads to resolve issues
• Able to rectify quality issues
• Contribute to process improvements to include quality, processes and health and safety

Skills / Qualifications:
• Candidates ideally should have minimum IMT level 2/3
