My client is a worldwide known Heavy Vehicle manufacturer and they are looking for a Commercial Sales Director to come in and look after the heavy truck side of the business.

Basic Function
To manage the Business line to deliver the company objectives for Market share, Invoiced units, Product Specification and Sales and Marketing activity in the UK +ROI.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage sales force, direct and Indirect to ensure we cover the available market and channels in an efficient.
• Deliver a minimum level of sales in line with the agreed sales objectives for market share, profitability and invoiced units every month.
• Manage directly and indirectly the direct sales team members to maximise the use of resources to get results in this channel.
• Work with the central team to ensure we define the most appropriate product offers for the market.
• Optimise price realisation in the marketplace for the range of products.
• Define market strategy and execute with the Team in the market and the dealer network.
• Work with the product team to ensure the technical specification of the vehicles are as competitive as possible and fully aligned to the missions specified by the customer base.
• Work with the logistics team to ensure product availability and stock levels in the network are sufficient to meet sales objectives.
• Work effectively in a matrix organisation to ensure all functions of the company are aligned and share the common objectives with the Business line.

Key Competencies & Behaviours:
• Experience in the Truck or Commercial Vehicle sector in Sales and Marketing leadership role or General Management role.
• Knowledge of managing Direct Sales and Indirect Sales Channels.
• Understanding of the Truck market and products
