Security Installation Engineer - Central London
Our client was established in 2004 with the aim to provide its customers with high quality, effective security at a sensible price. They design and install bespoke systems to fit into the clients lifestyle and surroundings. They have gained certification by the SSAIB. Their systems tend to be installed into high end domestic premises for the likes of high worth individuals and celebrities and commercial premises and may include intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, fire and all other physical security such as locks, gates, grills and shutters.
They are now looking to add a further multi-disciplined Security Systems Installation Engineer to their team of London based Engineers. This vacancy is available immediately. The purpose of the role is to install and service systems for clients usually within the Central London area but occasionally outside of this area with possible international travel. Core working hours will either be between 09:00 am and 17:30 pm or 08:00 am to 16:30pm, depending on site requirements. No call out rota is currently in place with this position, although this may be introduced. The requirements for this role are Experience in the installation, commissioning and servicing of intruder alarm systems - in particular Texecom & Galaxy Experience in the installation and servicing of CCTV and Access Control - in particular Samsung, Genie, Dedicated Micros & Paxton Net 2 IP and wireless systems Any knowledge of fire alarm systems and electric gates would also be beneficial but not essential. Basic computer knowledge
Candidates should be smart and presentable, highly customer focused, have a good broad knowledge of security systems, be capable of working independently, highly motivated, organised and fluent in their work, with the ability to maintain excellent attention to detail whilst under pressure.
Salary will be based on experience and qualifications and in the £26k-£32k range.
