Are you a Registered Manager looking for a new opportunity? If so, this company is looking for a Registered Manager to open a new service based in the Nottingham area, providing care and support for children and young people from a traumatic background. Within the company they are very child focused and always strive to give their service users the most positive outcomes. They are looking for a passionate and visionary individual who will bring their own influences and management experience into this role as well as well as working in line with their core values and adopt their therapeutic approach. As this is newly opening service, the Registered Manager will be in charge of registering the home, taking part in future OFSTED inspections and to be involved in engaging with the local community.
The main responsibilities of the Children`s Home Manager include:

- As this is a newly opening service as the Registered Manager you will be working closely with the Managing Director during the registration period
- To ensure that the Home meets the high standards set out by the company and strive for outstanding with Ofsted.
- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children making sure care standards are of the highest quality.
- Developing the team.
- Ensuring that budgets are managed effectively and the use of finances is properly monitored.

The key skills and experience required for the Children`s Home Manager include:

- Level 3 in Children and Young people
- Level 5 in Management
- A proven track record of successfully managing similar Children`s Residential facilities.
- Strong staff management.
- An ability to communicate effectively on all levels with internal and external bodies.
- A strong familiarity in working towards Ofsted standards and outcomes.
