What the Position Offers:
Based from home when not in the field with occasional trips to our client's Leeds office, we're looking for 2 Sales Managers, one to fill a north-west region and the other to fill a north-east territory.

A Little About our Client:
Looking to grow to £51m by 2020, our client focuses on CAD, Building Information Modelling (BIM), Data Management and Facilities Management(FM), our client’s services include providing Project Consultancy, Software, IT Systems, system design and implementation as well as training and technical support. Having recently opened an office in Leeds we’re helping them secure 2 Sales Managers, one for the NW and one for the NE.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities for this Sales Manager Role:
As Sales Manager, you’ll develop relationships with known prospects 25%
Develop new business 75%
Work closely with the Marketing team pertaining to leads.
Working with high quality, well qualified leads which need following up within 24 hours.
Conduct high quality, high impact presentations.
Create structured, compelling proposals.
Sell the benefits as to why a prospect should chose to partner with our client.
You’ll be responsible for understanding your customer’s problem, how they make decisions, the purchasing process and accurately forecast any potential deals along with creating well defined close plans.
Achieve the territory Net Gross Profit sales target through wider business unit penetration.
Record all activities, customer interactions and customer data on our client’s CRM system.
Complete weekly reports and monthly forecasts

As Sales Manager, you’ll have experience of the construction industry from a commercial perspective selling solutions rather than products.
IT and/or technical solutions sales experience would be considered.
You’ll be at an advantage if you have knowledge of the AEC industry
Should you have experience of selling CAD, Document Management Solutions, Facilities Management and IT Services, you’ll be of real interest.
We’re looking for a strategic thinker with proven consulting and interpersonal skills
Proven sales experience with good questioning technique, listening skills and ability to win sales on more than price.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to sell at all decision-making levels
