Immediate interview for a Java Technical experience working in a high performance application environment. You will be taking the technical lead of the main engineering team that is based in London. You will be working on complex concurrent low latency multithreaded applications that are critical to how this business operates. Their main platform handles over 500,000 users at any one time and with their customer base continuing to grow it is essential that they continue to re-engineer their platform. In addition they are growing their product offering which will involve working across a number Greenfield projects. Everything you work on is Java 8 and multithreaded and you will be hands on in building these applications

The company have gone from strength to strength in the 4 years since they started. With a complex mobile securities platform that enables their customers to track and secure their mobile data theta have grown rapidly. They now have offices in over 5 locations global, have over 100 global gateways and customers in every industry, with no plans to slow this is a great opportunity to grow.

There are a number of technical requirements for this role. The right technical lead will have experience working in a high performance environment, where you will have extensive experience with multithreading and garbage collection. You will have experience with working with Java 7 or Java 8, working on REST web services and unit testing using jUnit. In addition you will have mentored at least a team of three developers and also have been involved in some capacity in a recruitment process. Having working in a SOA or microservices environment will be great but not essential. You don't have to have been a tech lead previously but as long as you can demonstrated that you the required experience you will be considered for the role.
