.NET Senior Developer or Architect - become Development Manager
We have a new role in central London for a Senior .NET Developer or Architect who is looking to move into a Digital Development Manager role within an established agency.
To be considered you must have strong .NET web development skills and ideally some mobile experience too (native and/or PhoneGap).
In this role you will manage the development, testing and release of digital projects for the company. You will also manage the development team and set up and manage projects. It is anticipated that you will spend about 5-10% of your time coding - the rest will be spent managing the team, troubleshooting, making budget plans etc.
You must have strong Agile project management experience with Kanban or Scrum. You should have excellent troubleshooting skills and should be capable of mentoring staff. Any experience of recruiting staff would be useful too.
A knowledge of Windows Server and hosting technologies would be handy too.
You will look after the code repositories and assist in defining the system architecture. You will still be hands-on though, helping to develop websites, web applications and mobile apps when required. You will manage and lead projects, keeping them on time and within budget, and you will liaise with clients on progress.
This is a great opportunity for a .NET Senior Developer or Architect looking to step up and gain more responsibility. The agency is long-established and has a cracking roster of clients.
