Position - Expanding consultancy based in the City are seeking a Senior Building Surveyor

Role - Public Sector - project based work - inception to completion.

Person - Minimum 5 years Building Surveying experience (Private or Public Sector) - MRICS or MCIOB

An established Property and Construction Consultancy with offices located throughout the UK are seeking a Senior Building Surveyor with social housing experience to join their expanding London office.

Offering a clear pathway to 'Partner' this is a role offering an extremely varied workload and uncapped career potential. This practice work with a mixture of Private and Public sector clients and work within sectors such as Commercial, Residential and Education.

The ideal Senior Building Surveyor will have experience in dealing with Public Sector clients and social housing.

The Role

The successful Senior Building Surveyor will carry out disciplines including;

  • Specification Writing
  • Contract Administration
  • Schedules of Condition
  • Defect Diagnosis
  • Assisting in developing the Building Surveying team
  • Be a vocal point to more junior members of the Building Surveying team

The Successful Senior Building Surveyor

This is a role ideal for a Senior Building Surveyor whose career progression may be capped or who is looking for a London based role.

  • Experience having worked with Public Sector and with Social Housing
  • MSc/BSc in Building Surveying
  • Experience in dealing with Project focused Building Surveying matters
  • Committed to career progression
  • Strong communication skills
  • Be self-motivated, ambitious and organised
