We are exclusively recruiting for a very prestigious client who's sole purpose of business is to support and work in conjunction with human rights and poverty stricken people, refugees and various world wide implications that affect our country and it's culture.
They are an international think tank based in London and a registered UK charity.
Their work focuses on understanding, measuring, and explaining the journey from poverty to prosperity for individuals, communities, and nations.

They have an external link with Political and Business personalities that use the facilities on various occasions.

We are recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer who would be able to take on the needs of the building and make this job their own! This is a critical role for our client, and a very diverse position which requires someone who is able to attend to the Electrical & Plumbing maintenance needs as well as the appearance and the general up-keep of the building.

Ideally would suit someone who has previously been in the Marines/Navy or Army with the Electrical and Mechanical background who has then ventured into Facilities Maintenance.

You will be responsible for the entire building and its maintenance internally and externally (very easy to keep externally.)

You will be Level 3 qualified in electrical installations (17th Edition)
and also be Level 3 qualified in Plumbing.

You should be ideally experienced and knowledgeable within Building Maintenance for at least 10 years and capable of working on your own.

You must be organised and familiar with PPM'S and Reactive maintenance and liaising with outside contractors and have the confidence to call on outside experience if and when required. Our client have already built up an extensive contacts list and strong relationships and it would be down to you to maintain this.

Although you will be qualified in Electrical and Plumbing aspects, there will be further training and guidance in other areas if you require this.

Salary: £40,000 - £46,000 per annum

For the right candidate, this will be offered as a permanent position however due to the discretion of our client and the prestigious nature of this role it may also be offered as a 12 month fixed term contract.
