Technical Advisor - Up to £25,000 per annum - Commutable from Bishop's Stortford, Hertford, Loughton, Cheshunt and surrounding areas

I am currently recruiting for a Technical Advisor to join a well established manufacturing business. This is a key technical engineering customer service role and you will need to have a good engineering and/or manufacturing experience from scheduling, order placement through to delivery while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

As the Technical Advisor, you will be reporting to a Customer Services Manager and be responsible for the following:
- Manage the preparation and follow up on customer quotations
- Operate the CADCAM software to calculate unit/job prices for customer orders
- Input all orders onto the internal system
- Liaise with customers on the technical enquiries and achieve agreed outcomes
- Assist obtaining and providing customer forecasts
- Work closely with the engineering, production, customer service and sales team on a day to day basis

As the Technical Advisor, you will ideally have the following skills:
- Qualification or working experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment (ideally 2 years'+)
- Experience using CADCAM software is desirable
- Ability to interpret customer drawings in order to generate quotes
- Driven mindset and working well with minimal supervision
