Project Manager - Engineering bias
Excellent opportunity to utilise your Project Manager skills based around engineering projects, then transfer them in to the Lifts and Escalators industry.

Salary: £55,000 Basic + Car or Car Allowance + Package
Location: London (inside the M25)

Role Description
This is a delivery based role taking the lead as the no1 Project Manager on site running a project through its life cycle. These tend to be from 100k to 6million in value depending on the volume of Lifts and escalators being installed.

The projects are based around London with 90% being inside the M25 on various projects including Shopping centres and high rise developments. This is working directly for the Lift and Escalator provided but on behalf of the main contractor that will be running the entire project.
Due to this we need a project manager to have excellent stakeholder management to be in constant engagement with the main contractor on the project. As well as full control behind the scenes, such as:-

* Material control - Ensuring the equipment is ordered on time, to specification and arrives at the right site on time and to budget.
* Cost control - Ensuring the total project does not exceed the budget agreed including the equipment, labour and time associated costs that could be incurred.
* Site access & Site management - Having full control over the programme of works so no time is lost through access or not having the people required to install the products.

You don't need any experience in the Lifts and Escalator sector as full training is given. What you do need is proven ability in delivering a project from start to finish with experience of running a programme, costing and stakeholder engagement in an Engineering based environment.

Required Experience
You must have experience of running a Project from the programme delivery through to project completion and hand back.

Also you will require a relevant qualification to support your experience either HNC / HND or Degree qualified.
