Role: Purchase Ledger Clerk

Location: Bradford

Contract: 3 month temporary contract

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

Start date: ASAP

Pay Rate: £8.50 - £9.50 per hour dependant on experience

Our Bradford client is looking for a Purchase ledger clerk for a 3 month temporary contract. Applicants must have previous purchase ledger and general accounts experience as well as being proficient in Sage Line 50.

Duties:

* Covering all aspects of Purchase ledger for a company with 1000+ suppliers
* Matching invoices to delivery notes and entering invoices in to SAGE
* Matching invoices to statements
* Identifying discrepancies and querying these with suppliers to resolve the issue
* Entering supplier, product and pricing information on to the in-house system
* Reconciliation of supplier statements to the purchase ledger
* Answering calls and dealing with supplier queries
* General Administrative duties (filing, dealing with email enquiries)

Skills required

* Purchase ledger and general accounts experience
* Sage Line 50 experience is essential
* Highly numerate with a keen eye for detail
