A global payments company has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager with relevant professional experience in e-commerce / mobile commerce, payments, and/or operations. Prior business intelligence or/and analytics role would be a benefit.

As Operations Manager you will be responsible for EU in-market operational activities supporting digital products and solutions. This role is execution-oriented and involves driving resolution of operational issues, anticipating and mitigating business risks, ensuring all cross-functional groups have the information and support needed to meet deliverables and deadlines, and developing processes to ensure effective and efficient engagement across functions.

While this role will primarily focus on Operations, it should expect to support Reporting activities.

The ideal candidate will be an analytical, structured thinker and a creative problem solver with experience in operations, program management and/or consulting, information architecture, product management, business intelligence, and big data platforms. This position will be working with cross-functional project team

Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required

• Relevant professional experience in e-commerce /mobile commerce, payments, and/or operations. Prior business intelligence or/and analytics role preferred
• Financial services/payments, ecommerce, and mobile commerce industry experience a strong plus
• Ability to function autonomously, exercise sound decision-making skills, and serve as an advocate for the business
• Ability to critically and methodically think through issues, tasks and problems and develop workable solutions.
• Understanding of new technologies and ability to translate strategy and roadmaps into executable plans
• Flexible and proactive trouble-shooting capabilities with the ability to manage diverse groups organized within different organizational reporting lines
• Ability to adapt within a multi-tasking environment and simultaneously manage multiple issues and projects with limited resources
• Execution-oriented and deadline-driven
• High attention to detail and quality for all work products
• Hands-on, entrepreneurial and flexible to take broad guidance from management and execute plan of action to drive results
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strategic and analytical thinker who challenges status quo and looks for creative solutions to problems
• Demonstrated proficiency in large database manipulation through standard access tools, such as SQL and reporting tools (Micro strategy, Tableau, Data Meer) (preferred)
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts, latest BI trends and product analytics.
• Experience in SAS and Hadoop technologies (preferred)
• Experience in Marketing / Risk / Sales / Product / Mobile analytics performing basic statistical and predictive modelling (nice to have)
• Strong visualization skills & experience with Dashboards and Reporting tools
