Gas Service Engineer - Field Based - Banbury Area

Upto a basic salary of £28,000 (Dependent on Experience) & Overtime, Company Van, Penison and Health Care

As the lead supplier in the UK LPG market. This company is seeking a Gas Service Engineer for the Banbury area.

Flexible, Motivated Gas Service Engineer to join our field based team, providing engineering services and emergency response to customers n the area.

Predominately working outdoors, key responsibilities will include

Participatipation in a standby rota to respond to gas emergencies out of normal working hours

Participation in extensive travel in order to meet customer service standards for our largely rural customer service standards for our largely rural customer base

Ensuring customer services levels are met at all times

Analyse performace and identify areas of improvement

We are looking for:

A customer focussed individual with experience of delivering great service to gas consumers

Previous hands on gas industry experience is essential

Any relevant gas engineering experience would be considered useful and an understanding of LPG and the installation and maintenance of bulk LPG tanks and cylinders would be a distinct advantage

An industry recognised qualification such as Plumbing SNVQ, NVQ or City and Guilds is essential, with current ACS certification preferred.

Whilst previous experience of working with LPG tanks would be ideal, full training and support will be given to the right individual

This role requires participation in a standby rota to respond to gas emergencies out of normal working hours and can involve extensive travel in order to meet customer service standards for our largely rural customer base. Therefore you will need to have a flexible, positive and adaptable approach.

A full UK drivining licence is also essential.

Have an in depth knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards, including Health and Safety awareness

Appreciate the importance of and be able to follow procedures and instructions
