Gleeson Accountancy Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with our multi-site, award winning client who are based on the outskirts of Slough, Berkshire who require a Credit Controller to join their growing team, initially on a 6 month fixed term contract basis, with a potential for extension subject to performance. This is a superb opportunity for individuals seeking their next credit control role, who have already some gained relevant and recent experience in a similar environment, and you will receive full training in this role.

Reporting directly into the Credit Control Supervisor, as a Credit Controller, your duties will include:

* Posting receipts into Sage including all cheque and card payments
* Preparing cheques, and dealing with cheque rejections
* Taking calls / contacting customers for payment, via telephone and email
* Preparing paperwork for customer Bacs refunds
* Any other adhoc tasks to assist the team
* Answer incoming and return customer telephone calls promptly and professionally

Knowledge, skills & experience as a Credit Controller

* Preferably Sage or similar, but full training will be given
* Intermediate Excel and Word skills preferably
* Good standard of general Education, including numeracy, written and spoken English language
* Eye for detail
* Excellent telephone manner
* Cash posting experience essential
* Good attention to detail
* Hard working, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
* Able to communicate at all levels
