Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse

Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a band 6 community psychiatric nurse to fill a part-time role in Gloucester.
The pay rate for this locum CPN job is £22.95 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour for weekdays, £29.84 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour for nights and Saturdays and £36.72 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour for Sundays and Bank Holidays. and is an initial 3-month contract.

Responsibilities of the CPN:
- to deliver comprehensive mental health assessment, in an emergency for service users, who may be distressed and in crisis
- To be responsible for developing delivering and reviewing comprehensive and complex treatment programmes using appropriate frameworks in line with evidence¬ based practice, including strategies to manage risk for service users with complex needs and carers, bringing in other resources as required
- To plan, deliver and evaluate defined, specialist therapeutic interventions as indicated in the assessment process ,in line with personal recovery plans, including to service users who maybe on other caseloads

Requirements of the CPN:
- Valid NMC registration under mental health
- Experience working within a similar role
- A degree or equivalent within mental health nursing (RMN trained)
