Internal Account Manager - Europe's IT Distributor - Nottingham

£18000-£19000 + OTE + Pension + Private Health + Training

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to announce that Europe's largest IT Distributor is currently seeking 2x Internal Account Managers to join their central sales office in Nottingham, as part of an aggressive recruitment drive following huge investments from their global business partners. Our client boasts a wide product portfolio spanning Laptops, PCs, Mobile Telecoms, IT Networking, IT Security and much, much more.

The responsibilities of the Internal Account Manager will cover a mixture of new business acquisition through working off warm leads handed over from marketing campaigns and lead generation projects in a bid to win new business and develop them in to buying, fruitful accounts. Internal Account Managers will also benefit from being "gifted" a set of live accounts to work on from day one to help you hit the ground running, but also be targeted with set development and growth over the course of 6 and 12 month periods.

Internal Account Managers will be largely telephone-based therefore to apply candidates will require the following:
* A minimum of 12-18 months experience selling IT Hardware, Software or Services on behalf of a Reseller, Distributor or Broker OR 2-3 years general Telesales experience where you were involved in outbound B2B sales
* A proven track record in new business/cold-calling sales
* A strong and professional telephone manner
* A natural desire and passion to hit and exceed sales-based targets
* Ideally an interest or knowledge in IT and Technology
* Preferably a UK Driving Licence
* Commutable distance to Nottingham (20 miles max)

 Starting salary of £18000-£19000
