A new opportunity for a Senior Technical Manager has arisen within a well established residential developer and contractor. Operating within the South of Wales and growing to the South West of England, this is with a national business and will report to the Technical Director.

This position as the functional no. 2 of a respected and fast-growing housing business will bring responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Technical team, overseeing a growing team of Technical Managers. The region is currently delivering a range of small to long-term multiphase developments, delivering new build private homes for sale and affordable housing for key clients.

Key Skills and Experience

* Proven leader of people - able to illustrate ability to motivate and lead high performance teams.
* Experience of successfully delivering open market and affordable housing.
* Comfortable working in a high-volume environment.
* Proficient use of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Asta.
* Ideally hold a design, engineering or project management degree or professional membership.

Desired Candidate Profile

A Senior Technical Manager who brings several years' management experience to the role. Someone who holds the value of people core to every operation and can demonstrate the ability to play an influential role in delivering impressive results, and developing excellent stakeholder relations. Someone who is passionate about the industry, committed to their career, and understands the challenges of the housing sector.
