We're looking to interview candidates for a Registered Manager role, for a brand new domiciliary Care branch in the greater Manchester area. This is a great opportunity to work for an established care provider but to set up and manage a new branch, recruiting your own staff team. The company are already on the framework for Bury, and you'll be taking on new clients, getting care packages set up and recruitment of staff. On offer is a salary of £22,000 - £25,000 dependent on salary, plus the chance to work for a fantastic local provider.

The Domiciliary Care Manager role
The company have recently won the Bury Tender and are on the framework. Initially you'll work from the Tameside office whilst the service gets established but with a view to opening an office in Bury.

As the Registered Manager:

* You'll be responsible for the recruitment of care staff, care coordinator and other office staff as the service grows - this is a rare opportunity to select and train your own team
* You'll take on new care packages, in and around the Bury area, ensuring that Care Assessments, risks assessments and care plans are completed.
* You'll oversee the establishment and maintainence of appropriate and effectives systems for the branch including, care records, time sheets, supervision arrangements, shifts and rotas, work allocation, recruitment, induction and development s of staff.
* You'll undertake investigations an enquiries where needed
* You'll ensure that the service is run in compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements. You'll become the Registered Manager of the service with CQC.

The Successful Candidate will

* Have a good understanding of CQC standards
* Have experience of managing domiciliary care services in the community, either as a deputy manager, care manager, branch manager or Registered Manager
* Be qualified to NVQ4/QCF level 5 or already working towards
* Be a driver with own vehicle
* Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to manage own workload
