The Role

My client who are based in Leicestershire have an exciting permanent position for a CNC Programmer to join their current team. You will be responsible for programming and machining precision plastic components on various machines running various systems working within tight tolerances. The Successful CNC Programmer will be working from drawings and using their own initiative to produce jigs, fixtures, small batch works and one offs. Working with Quality Control on in-process inspections using various types of measuring equipment as well as working closely with the production and design team for machining capability.

The Company

The successful CNC Programmer will be working for a company that was founded in the 60s and is now a World leader in their sector supplying specialist acrylic products for the Medical, Pharmaceutical and submersible sectors.

The Right Person

A minimum of 3 years experience is needed for this CNC Programmer. You will be using a variety of machines including a Haas Milling & Turning machine using Fanuc Controls, a Webster Bennett VTL with a NUM control system, Rafamet VTL using Fagor control system as well as various Manual Milling & Turning machinery. Previous experience of machining polymer materials would be desirable but is not essential.
