Field Sales Manager / Area Representative / Regional Account Executive with new business development, negotiating, client retention and customer facing skills is required by a well-established national Company.


SALARY: £26,000 - £30,000 OTE + Car + iPad + Mobile Phone

WORKING HOURS: 40 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday (may require the occasional Saturday when required)


TERRITORY COVERED: Oxford, Reading, Swindon, Slough, Kingston Upon Thames, Bracknell, Thatcham, Abingdon, Maidenhead, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Worcester, Hereford, Banbury, Aylesbury, Farnborough, Chipping Norton


PLEASE NOTE: Candidates will need to have a full Drivers Licence


JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Field Sales Manager / Area Representative / Regional Account Executive with new business development, negotiating, client retention and customer facing skills.

Working as the Field Sales Manager / Area Representative / Regional Account Executive you will travel within your assigned territory to attend self-generated pre-booked meetings with small independent retail business customers. You will also carry out unannounced / ad-hoc visits to potential retail businesses / prospects during the course or your working day where you will sell the benefits of the Company’s services and membership programme, with the ultimate goal of signing up new retail business customers.

Your responsibilities as the Field Sales Manager / Area Representative / Regional Account Executive will also involve retaining and account managing existing clients within your territory to ensure they receive a high level of service.

As the Field Sales Manager / Area Representative / Regional Account Executive you must have field based experience and enjoy working out on the road with the ability to manage your time, appointments and daily / weekly schedule effectively.

For the most part you will be expected to self-generate your own appointments by allocating time during the day to telephone prospects and arrange meetings. You will also look for client referrals and follow up on your own leads. As an ideal candidate you should also be comfortable walking in cold to some of your target retailers to introduce yourself and sell the company’s services and membership plans.


IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience selling within a face-to-face environment where extensive travel within your territory is required

• Must have the ability to self-generate leads and appointments

• Must have good telephone and communication skills

• Must have the ability to manage your time effectively

• Must be comfortable walking into small retail businesses unannounced to introduce yourself and sell the Company’s services and membership plans
